Meet Our Team

Avita Morgan, TVI

Founder & President

For more than 19 years, Avita has dedicated her career to serving children with disabilities and their families. Her experience spans the full continuum of childhood development, supporting children from infancy through adolescence in educational, community, and home-based settings. She earned a Master of Science in Visual Disabilities from Florida State University and is a certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI).

Born with albinism, Avita is legally blind and has navigated the world with low vision from an early age. Her lived experience, combined with years of professional service, has shaped her belief that accessibility, thoughtful adaptations, and high expectations can transform a child's opportunities.

Avita founded AdaptAbility Kids with the belief that every child deserves meaningful participation and that families should have access to practical resources, encouragement, and a community that believes in their child's potential.
